Our Story

What started as a simple act of kindness grew into a full-time commitment to helping animals in need.

Like many families, ours always had pets. Dogs and cats were loved, cared for, and treated as part of the family. For years, helping animals meant offering food to strays, helping reunite lost pets with their families, or assisting whenever an opportunity to help appeared.

Around 2019, that commitment began to grow. More and more dogs in need crossed our path. Some were hungry. Some were sick. Some had been abandoned. Others were victims of neglect or abuse.

What began as helping one dog at a time quickly became something much bigger.

At first, we volunteered through local Facebook groups, helping transport injured dogs to veterinary care and responding when someone needed assistance. Over time, people began reaching out directly to report injured animals, cases of neglect, and dogs in urgent need of help.

As the number of animals increased, our home was no longer enough. What started with a few rescued dogs became a dedicated rescue effort focused on providing safety, medical care, rehabilitation, and a second chance.

Today, rescuing animals is no longer something we do in our spare time—it has become a full-time commitment.

Every dog that comes through our rescue has a story, and our mission is to help them find a future filled with safety, dignity, and love.

Los Cabos Pet Rescue is dedicated to helping abandoned, neglected, injured, and vulnerable dogs throughout the Los Cabos area.

Our work includes:

• Rescuing dogs in need
• Providing food, shelter, and daily care
• Veterinary treatment and rehabilitation
• Emergency assistance for injured animals
• Foster placement when available
• Adoption support and rehoming efforts
• Community education and advocacy for animal welfare

Every rescue begins with a dog in need and ends with the hope of finding a safe, loving home.
