In Memory of Rita “Chatita”

“A tender little soul who found family, love, and a home for life.”

Rita, lovingly known as Chatita, was found on the streets when she was just a baby, together with her mom. She was adopted and spent her life surrounded by a family who loved her deeply.

Although she lost her mom a few months before her own passing, Rita was never alone. She lived a happy life with her humans, her dog siblings, and her cat siblings, always surrounded by the warmth of home.

Rita was shy around people she did not know, but with her family, she was full of affection. She loved sleeping close to her humans, spending her days by their side, and gently touching their noses while they slept — one of the many little gestures that made her unforgettable.

She was curious, sweet, and very loved. She especially enjoyed tasting human food, with Mexican food being one of her favorites.

Rita lived into adulthood in a home where she was cherished, protected, and treated as family. She will always be remembered as a tender little soul who gave her heart quietly, completely, and with so much love.
