Don Flaco was rescued from extreme abuse when he was about eight months old. Although he was later adopted by a family who loved him deeply, some of those emotional wounds stayed with him throughout his life. Even so, he came to know safety, love, and true happiness.

He had the chance to share his life with dog and cat siblings, and he discovered one of his greatest joys: the sea. He learned to swim and became a true expert, spending many of his happiest days at the beach, swimming and playing with his family. He loved sitting quietly to watch the sunrise, and he always seemed eager to help with daily life — even “assisting” with household chores, like uncovering drains when it rained.

Rainy days made him especially happy. He would run outside and jump with pure joy under the falling rain. Don Flaco was an exceptional dog — resilient, gentle, and unforgettable. He lived a life full of love and passed away peacefully of old age.

He will always be remembered with deep love, as a dog who survived so much and still found joy in the world.
